Floral Career Academy offers professional beginning, advanced and wedding design classes in fresh or silk floral design and business classes. These classes are designed for anyone wishing to become a florist or floral designer, work in a flower shop, sharpen their skills, continue their education or work on MCF certification.

• Learn how to make bows, wedding bouquets, corsages and boutonniers. Learn how to put flowers in a vase. Learn how to make funeral arrangements.

• Take our wedding planner or wedding consultant classes. Make altar arrangements, pew bows and pew arrangements. Learn how to decorate the bride and grooms table and make wedding centerpieces.

• Graduates can practice their new learned skills at our professional flower shop at no extra charge for as long as they need. Apprenticeships and placement are also available.

• Fresh flower classes or artificial flower classes are available upon request.

• Discount wedding flowers can be ordered through our school. We offer a full line of wedding flowers and props for the wedding party, church and reception. All work is done by advanced students and professional designers and overseen by a Master Designer. Call to reserve your wedding day.

We offer small class sizes ( 1 - 4 students) with individualized attention. Supplies are provided and are included in the cost of the class. Classes start weekly and can be scheduled for day, night or weekends. For those from out of town, we can get you through the course quickly.

We are close to Detroit, Ann Arbor and Dearborn and just 45 minutes from the Ohio border. Major crossroads are I-94 and Southfield road.
